Đảng, Nhà nước ta luôn xác định Tây Nguyên là địa bàn chiến lược đặc biệt quan trọng về kinh tế-xã hội và quốc phòng, an ninh của cả nước; là vùng giàu tiềm năng và lợi thế để phát triển kinh tế xã hội. Sự ổn định, phát triển bền vững của Tây Nguyên không chỉ liên quan đến sự ổn định phát triển của khu vực mà còn liên quan đến sự ổn định phát triển của cả nước. Do vị trí chiến lược dặc biệt quan trọng đó, bảo vệ chủ quyền an ninh biên giới quốc gia trên địa bàn Tây Nguyên liên quan chặt chẽ và trở thành một bộ phận không thể tách rời đến việc đảm bảo quốc phòng, an ninh và phát triển kinh tế - xã hội, phục vụ cho phát triển bền vững khu vực biên giới Tây Nguyên. Abstract:
Our Party and State always determine that the Central Highlands is a particularly important strategic area for socio-economic, defense and security of the nation; this is a region rich in potentials and advantages for socio-economic development. The stability and sustainable development of the Central Highlands are not only related to the development stability of the region but also related to the development stability of the whole country. Due to that important strategic position, protecting the security and sovereignty of national border in the Central Highlands is closely related and becomes an inseparable part to ensure national defense and security and socio-economic development, serving for sustainable development in the Central Highlands border area.
